To simplify things because of the GDPR legislation coming into force and the technical problems I’ve had with online payments in the past, I’ve decided not to upgrade my website to SSL security, removing the shopping cart instead. It is now a shop window. You can still buy what you see there but you’ll just communicate directly via email – to ask for further details, to see if still in stock, to order and arrange payment via paypal; (and an invoice can be provided if you wish.)
This will have an added advantage in that I can now put on more photos of my designs. Before, I had to leave the designs shown in a cabinet, reserved for someone to eventually come along and buy from the website, which didn’t happen that often. Now, I can add more selection, some of which go out to craft fairs but because you’ll be checking with me that they’re in stock BEFORE you pay, you’ll know exactly when I’ll be able to post them out to you. Generally they will be available straightaway but occasionally it might be that it has been sold elsewhere and I’ll need to make another one.
