CONDITIONS OF SALE

  • Goods are available for sale in mainland UK only;  i.e. England, Mainland Scotland, Wales and Isle of Wight. (Northern Ireland is no longer included.)
  • £3.50 per parcel, any number of items as long as ordered at the same time to the same address.  This includes postage via the Royal Mail Tracked 48 2nd class service.  If the complete order is in stock, it will normally be dispatched within 1-3 working days.
  • Paypal is the preferred way to pay, so just email me to check availability and timescale (usually next day despatch if in stock) and I will provide the paypal payments details or an invoice, whichever you prefer.
  • Each item will be supplied in a gift box or tissue paper/taffeta bag, whichever is more appropriate.

 PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy describes how and when I collect, use, and share information when you purchase an item from me, contact me, or otherwise use my services.

To fulfil your order, you must provide me with certain, such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. You may also choose to provide me with additional personal information regarding the jewellery design, if you contact me directly. I will use this information to communicate about the order.  I will share the relevant details with the delivery service to despatch the ordered item(s) and also in compliance with legal processes. I will not share your details with any other third parties.

I retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with my services and those time limits required by the law for tax purposes.

You have the right to access and receive a copy of any personal information I hold about you by contacting me using the contact information below. If you want to withdraw your consent, again, just email me with UNSUSCRIBE in the subject line.

Should you wish to be kept informed of future events (usually once a year, twice if I’ve got anything special to say or any offers), then please let me know by sending an email and confirming that you give your permission for me to keep your email address on my mailing list database for these newsletters.  I will not use your details for any other reason and I will not pass on to any other third parties.

For purposes of EU data protection law, I, Silvana Briers, am the data controller of your personal information. If you have any questions or concerns, you may contact me at enquiries@www.jewellerybysilvana.co.uk.

RETURNS POLICY

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, return within 14 days and I will refund or replace, provided the item is unworn and undamaged and returned in the original package, (though you must pay for the cost of the return postage.) However, because of hygiene considerations, I cannot exchange/refund earrings. Please contact me prior to returning and ensure that you receive a certificate of posting. This does not apply to custom orders.

FURTHER INFORMATION

Be aware: I’m not into mass manufacture, I work alone and always have orders on the go, so please do not order if you want something urgently, I cannot promise to do that, contact me first.

Also, each image you see is unique, so any item you order will be similar to, but probably not exactly the same as shown on the website. I will send photos via email before despatch to check that it is still acceptable.

Multiple orders. Some designs are very definitely one-offs, others I may not have more of the raw materials (the same stones, coin dates etc), so please contact me before ordering more than 1 of any item you see here.

SILVER CONTENT

Fine silver = 99.9% silver
Sterling silver = 92.5% silver (usually the other 7.5% is copper)

Most of my silver jewellery currently weighs less than 7.78g, therefore they are not legally required to be hallmarked. However, I do have a particular range of hallmarked items, stamped by the Edinburgh Assay Office. These are either heavier than the legal limit or more technically complicated or both. These will be available for sale in selected galleries or special request.
